Paradise Dachshunds Puppy Application

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 

We are a show dog exhibitor and preservationist breeder, breeding for the continuation and betterment of the Dachshund breed.

Breeding for quality, not quantity!

Please note: I primarily breed smooth coat (short hair) miniature dachshunds. Once a year, I may have a long hair litter with a co-owner. The only color(s) I breed for is red, or black/tan. I don't breed patterns (brindle, dapple, piebald), or creams or chocolates.

Many of my dogs live with trusted co-owners who are involved in dog shows with me. Future litter plans can change depending on our schedules and I don't share my exact waiting list.

I ALWAYS have first choice in any litter. I may not know which puppy you will be getting until I do my 'show keeper' evaluations. This can take until 10-12 weeks. But often I make my selection at 8-9 weeks.

Any puppy I do not keep or co-own for show purposes is sold as a lifetime companion pet on a spay/neuter contract. I breed for show dogs and only allow those puppies that I feel are show quality will be sold with AKC papers. Any exception to this must be agreed to in advance. I do not sell dogs outright for breeding purposes, co-ownership contracts on all show dogs.

Please do not fill out an application if you can't afford to buy and care for a puppy. You must be between the age of 24-74 years, and in good health. My exact litter prices and expected wait time will be discussed once the application is received and reviewed.

I reserve the right to only sell puppies to the following states - Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania because my puppies must come back to me if you can not keep or care for them. This is to protect the puppy.
